HAIR MODELS
Which is the suitable
hair model for your face? First we should know the
face shapes. There are seven different face shapes.
These are as follows.
Before having our hairs
cut, we should decide on what we want. Do we need
to highlight the face or the hairs? Here are the ideal
hair cuts according to the face shapes...
ROUND FACE
This is a balanced
and soft facial structure. It does not change the
look. However, if you are discontent because of the
roundness of your face and would like a thinner face.
You should prefer the styles, which would increase
the volume of your hairs.
Thus your hairs will
be highlighted and the roundness of your face a little
bit lessened. The tufts cut toward the front in comparison
to the facial features, would give a smaller face.
SQUARE FACE
The square face is
also balanced like the round face. The rigidity is
highlighted. If you don’t want to have the shape of
your face changed while cutting your hairs, a square
cut is the most suitable for you.
However if you prefer
to soften and balance your facial expression, you
should have round hair models. You can have round
cut fringes and tufts covering your temples.
RECTANGULAR
FACE
This is a shape, which
slightly modifies the face without making much difference.
If you want to shorten your face, you should have
a cut, which does not extend beyond the jawbone.
You will have balanced, harmonious hair models with
the hair cuts, which cover the temples.
OBLONG RECTANGULAR
FACE
If you want to lengthen
your face and hide your temples in the background,
you can narrow your face with rectangular cuts with
volumes gathered at the top or try long hair models
and change a little bit the facial structure.
INVERTED TRIANGULAR
FACE
This is a shape completely
changing the face. It is possible to make more modern
cuts with this facial shape. It is the most suitable
face shape for make-up. This facial shape procures
to the person a very energetic look, therefore if
you need to strengthen this appearance without
changing the shape
of your face, you should prefer short cut hairs at
the flanks and nape and have the volume at the top.
Otherwise if you want
a balanced, harmonious and soft facial expression
you should prefer on the contrary the hair models
with more volume at the nape, with decreased volume
at the top.
TRIANGULAR
FACE
This is a negative
face type for hair models. It gives a weak and tired
look. In this type of face shape, you should balance
the negative facial structure with the positive energy
to be procured to your hairs.
You can achieve that
by decreasing the hairs in the nape and increasing
gradually the volume at the temples toward the top.
You may have little square cuts.
OVAL FACE
This is the most reputed
face type. This hair shape permits long, short, curly,
fringy hair models. You should determine your hair
model by consulting and talking with your hairdresser
while choosing a hair style according to your height,
weight or face and deciding which part of your face
to emphasize and which part to hide.
ATTENTION
In order to have a
hair cut suitable for the shape of the face, you should
consult your hairdresser and specify if you want to
emphasize your face or your hairs, you should talk
about your weight, height, wearing style and even
your personality and make cut your hairs accordingly.
